Kitchen Hand

The kitchen hand will play a crucial role in ensuring that our kitchen runs smoothly, efficiently, and in compliance with health and safety standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the kitchen staff with food preparation and cooking tasks, such as chopping vegetables, cleaning meat, and preparing sauces
  • Ensure that the kitchen is clean and organized at all times, including washing dishes, sanitizing work surfaces, and disposing of waste
  • Restock kitchen supplies and ingredients as needed, including food items, cleaning supplies, and kitchen equipment
  • Assist with receiving deliveries and storing food items in the correct locations
  • Follow all health and safety guidelines, including proper food handling and storage
  • Attend regular training sessions to stay up-to-date on new kitchen equipment and safety procedures
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures

Physical Demands:

  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time
  • Ability to lift heavy objects
  • Ability to work in a hot and humid environment
