Noodle Wok Preparation:

Now we are going to teach you how to make one of the most common recipes to prepare when cooking with a wok, since Chinese noodles are one of the basic ingredients in this type of cooking. To cook the Chinese noodles we are going to heat a pot with plenty of water and it is very hot and comes to a boil, we are going to remove it from the heat and add the noodles. We will let them hydrate in the hot water for approximately five minutes, so that they remain at their point. There is no need to add salt to the water because these Chinese noodles are made with a salty paste. After that time we put them in a colander and let them drain all the water.

Meanwhile we take the opportunity to prepare the rest of the ingredients that we need for the recipe. Peel the onions and the carrot, and cut them into not very thick pieces, julienne the onions and the carrot into small sticks, for example. Wash the peppers, remove the seeds from the inside and also cut them into thin, elongated sticks. Wash the mushrooms and slice or slice them in the same way. Wash some cabbage leaves and broccoli, and also chop well. We are also going to chop up a good handful of nuts, the ones we have or like the most, such as walnuts, hazelnuts or almonds for example.

With all the vegetables already prepared, we heat the wok with a little virgin olive oil, until it is very hot, then we add all the vegetables to it at the same time and we are going to sauté them without stopping stirring for a few minutes, to that they cook well on the outside and brown and inside we are left “al dente”, which is the way the vegetables made in the wok should be. It may be difficult for you the first few times, but with practice you will know how to cook it perfectly and it will turn out better each time.

Once we taste the vegetables and they are just right, we add the noodles already cooked and well drained, so they do not add water to the dish and finally add a good drizzle of soy sauce and the chopped nuts, stir well and then leave a couple of minutes to skip all the ingredients to mix the flavors of all of them. At the end we already have our wok noodles ready to serve, which we will always do hot and before it cools down, to enjoy all its flavor.
