Position Overview

As a Bar Support (Barback) at Enjoy Restaurants Group, you are an essential pillar of the bar’s performance. Your role is to ensure that bartenders can operate at maximum efficiency by maintaining organization, stock levels and cleanliness at the highest standard.

This position requires speed, anticipation, physical stamina and a strong sense of teamwork within a dynamic, high-energy hospitality environment.

Key Responsibilities

Operational Efficiency

• Support bartenders during service to ensure continuous and seamless bar operations.
  
  

• Anticipate operational needs and proactively replenish stock (spirits, wines, beer, mixers, garnishes, ice, glassware).
  
  

• Prepare bar stations before service and ensure full readiness for peak hours.
  
  

• Maintain constant organization of storage areas and back-of-house bar spaces.
  
  

Service Support

• Assist in the preparation of basic bar elements (cutting fruit, preparing garnishes, restocking fridges).
  
  

• Ensure glassware is clean, polished and readily available.
  
  

• Support bottle service logistics and high-volume service periods.
  
  

• Collaborate with runners and floor staff when necessary to maintain smooth service flow.
  
  

Cleanliness & Standards

• Maintain impeccable cleanliness of the bar area throughout service.
  
  

• Remove empty bottles, waste and used glassware efficiently.
  
  

• Follow health, hygiene and safety standards at all times.
  
  

• Ensure equipment and tools are properly maintained and stored.
  
  

Team Collaboration

• Work closely with bartenders, runners and management to ensure operational excellence.
  
  

• Remain attentive and responsive throughout the shift.
  
  

• Demonstrate a proactive, solution-oriented mindset in high-pressure situations.
  
  

Profile Requirements

• Previous bar or hospitality experience is an advantage but not essential.
  
  

• Strong work ethic and ability to work at speed without compromising quality.
  
  

• Good physical stamina and ability to remain active throughout the shift.
  
  

• Team-oriented attitude with strong communication skills.
