WAITING STAFF
Position Overview
As a Waiter/Waitress at Enjoy Restaurants Group, you are a key contributor to the overall guest experience and commercial performance of the restaurant.
You are responsible for delivering refined, attentive and personalized service while ensuring operational excellence within your assigned section.
This role requires strong product knowledge, confidence, sales awareness and the ability to perform consistently in a dynamic, high-volume, international environment.
Key Responsibilities
Guest Experience & Service Excellence
Welcome guests warmly and professionally, creating a positive and engaging dining experience from the first interaction.
Provide attentive, responsive and personalized service throughout the entire guest journey.
Maintain full responsibility for your assigned section, ensuring it is impeccably organized, clean and service-ready at all times.
Deliver food and beverages accurately and efficiently, in accordance with brand standards.
Engage naturally with guests, building rapport while maintaining professionalism and elegance.
Product Knowledge & Order Management
Demonstrate complete knowledge of all menus, ingredients, preparation methods and beverage offerings.
Confidently guide guests through the menu and make tailored recommendations.
Accurately take and input food and beverage orders using the designated POS system.
Coordinate closely with runners, bar and kitchen to ensure smooth timing and flawless delivery.
Sales & Upselling
Identify opportunities to enhance the guest experience through strategic upselling (premium drinks, bottles, signature dishes, desserts, etc.).
Contribute actively to increasing average spend per guest while maintaining authenticity and service quality.
Promote special events, signature experiences and brand highlights when appropriate.
Problem Resolution & Professionalism
Take full ownership of guest satisfaction within your section.
Handle queries, special requests and complaints promptly, calmly and professionally.
Escalate issues to management when necessary while maintaining a solution-oriented approach.
Team Collaboration & Standards
Work in close coordination with runners, bartenders and management to ensure seamless service flow.
Support colleagues during peak service periods to maintain overall restaurant performance.
Maintain impeccable personal presentation and grooming standards aligned with brand image.
Profile Requirements
Previous experience as a waiter/waitress in high-volume or premium hospitality environments.
Strong communication skills (additional languages are a significant advantage).
Sales-driven mindset with confidence in upselling premium products.
Ability to perform under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
