COOK

The cook will be responsible for ensuring that all meals are prepared and presented to a high standard while maintaining the cleanliness and safety of the kitchen.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare high-quality meals for our customers
  • Follow recipes and cooking methods to ensure consistency in quality and taste
  • Maintain inventory and order supplies when necessary
  • Follow all health and safety guidelines, including proper food handling and storage
  • Keep the kitchen area clean and organized
  • Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure a smooth and efficient operation
  • Attend regular training sessions to stay up-to-date on new recipes, cooking techniques, and kitchen safety procedures
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures

Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of cooking techniques and ingredients
  • Ability to follow recipes and prepare meals consistently to a high standard
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work well in a team
  • Good communication skills
  • Flexible schedule, including weekends and evenings

Physical Demands:

  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time
  • Ability to lift heavy objects
  • Ability to work in a hot and humid environment

Education and Certification:

  • Culinary degree or certification preferred, but not required
