Position Overview
As a Cook at Enjoy Restaurants Group, you are a fundamental member of the kitchen brigade, responsible for the execution and consistency of our culinary offering. You ensure that every dish leaving your section meets the quality, presentation and timing standards that define our restaurants.
Working within a structured and high-performance kitchen environment, you contribute directly to guest satisfaction, operational efficiency and the overall reputation of the brand.
This role requires technical skill, discipline, organization and the ability to perform consistently in a fast-paced, high-volume service.
Key Responsibilities
Food Preparation & Execution
Prepare and cook menu items according to standardized recipes, portion guidelines and brand specifications.
Ensure consistency in taste, texture and presentation across all dishes.
Execute mise en place efficiently to guarantee smooth service.
Maintain awareness of service timing and coordinate with other sections to ensure synchronized delivery.
Ensure all dishes leaving your station meet quality control standards before service.
Operational Performance
Manage your assigned station effectively during high-demand service periods.
Maintain a clean, organized and fully prepared workstation at all times.
Monitor stock levels within your section and communicate shortages proactively.
Support inventory control by minimizing waste and following portion standards.

Team Collaboration
Work closely with the Head Chef and wider brigade to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
Maintain clear and professional communication during service.
Support junior team members when required.
Demonstrate flexibility in assisting other sections when necessary.

Follow all food safety, hygiene and storage regulations strictly.
Ensure proper handling and storage of ingredients according to health and safety standards.
Maintain high standards of cleanliness within your workstation and shared kitchen areas.
Adhere to company policies, procedures and operational protocols.
Continuous Development
Participate in training sessions and skill development initiatives.
Stay updated on new menu items, techniques and kitchen procedures.
Demonstrate willingness to grow within the kitchen hierarchy.
Profile Requirements
Previous experience as a Cook in a professional kitchen environment.
Strong knowledge of cooking techniques, ingredients and kitchen workflow.
Ability to follow recipes precisely and maintain consistency under pressure.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Team-oriented mindset with clear communication skills.
Flexible availability, including weekends and evenings.
Culinary training or certification is an advantage but not mandatory.
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand for extended periods during service.
Ability to lift and move heavy items when required.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, warm kitchen environment.
